Replaced floor pan and rear suspension
Hope this goes here instead of Advanced tech, the only change is the replaced floor pan, but here we go...
My floor was rusted out real bad, so I cut it out and replaced it. Now I'm worried that I might have screwed up and ruined the leaf spring mount that would go on the floor pan. I had to cut out around the out side of the spring mount, and with my death wobble, I'm afraid of the spring punching through the floor. You can imagine that would be catastrophic, especially on a long trip like I'm hoping of doing (western NC to Washington DC).
Anybody with experience with this, what did you do? Did I screw up as bad as I feared? I can get pictures tomorrow when it's light outside. Thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind, it had been a while since I looked down there, and now I see I didn't cut out as much as I feared.
