Default Leaking freeze plug in bell housing!

Well IV narrowed my coolant leak to the bell housing. It leaks about a 6 inch round damp circle every time I shut the engine off at operating tempature. My question is has anyone else had this issue? where to find the parts? What is needed for the job to do it? And how long should it take. I'm very good and fast when working on vehicles. Not a noob. Thanks for the help.

Pull the engine and replace the freeze plug.

Pull the engine and inspect the freeze plug in the back of the head and the ones down the driver's side. If one freeze plug rusted through, the others aren't far behind.

Don't forget about the one covered by the bellhousing. That's probably where his leak is.

^^Both of these are what you need to do.^^
Also, When you buy the new freeze plugs make sure that you get the brass plugs and NOT the steel plugs.

Yea im not sure if I'm going to repair it or sell it before summer for something with a/c. IV got a crazy schedule and am not sure if I could drop the granny fix it then put it all back in in a day. I hate these decisions. Atleast my wife drives my other xj.
