Default Replace studs on front fenders

Good Afternoon,

Other than replacing the entire fender, what is the best way to replace the broken studs on the front fenders (the studs that hold the front clip onto the Jeep).

Thank you for your help!

I drilled it out and welded on a new bolt as a stud. In a pinch, you could drill it out and then use one of those dry wall anchor things (https://www.homedepot.com/p/Crown-Bo...0242/100349321. That stud is only needed to hold the header panel in place. I went a few years without a nut on that stud on my 99. Didn't really hurt anything.

Thank you! Did you weld l/tack the bolt from the rear side of the fender?

Hammered through and replaced with a bolt. Did not weld but I don't have the inner fender on my 94 either.

Yes. Drilled through and then weld from the back side. It can take awhile to drill through. It's a pretty thick piece of metal on the backside of the fender, just have to be patient. I use antisieze on everything when I put it back together now.

Thank you. I will try what you stated! On a side note, does anyone know where to get replacement bolts for the fender?
