So it sounds like it's running perfectly other than the low idle and it'll kinda idle once warmed up, if so I'd be checking the IAC. I know it's new, that doesn't guarantee it's good. I've gone through a few of them in a short time and have heard of guys getting one that's dead from the start. It could also have a problem in the wiring. I'd pull the IAC out and try starting the engine and see if it moves. Also measure the protrusion of the valve and depth of the hole to see if it's actually opening and allowing air to flow. If it doesn't appear to be opening you can manually retract the valve plunger and reinstall the valve with the wires off and see if it'll idle. To retract it, pull back on the little sleeve on the valve shaft and screw the plunger in. When mine failed I did this to get by 'till I could get a new one. If this works you just gotta figure out if it's a bad valve or something in the system, my bet would be on a bad valve.

Make sure it's closing.

But, you say it will idle with the booster hose off, so I doubt that's the issue.

Couple other things to check.

Intake manifold bolts loose?

My Tip 5. What were the results?
Why don't we discuss that's stuff

That's not a symptom of a bad IAC.

Sucking fuel is a symptom of a bad MAP sensor or the vacuum line to it.....

Disabling emissions controls is illegal and it's against forum rules to suggest or assist someone in breaking the law.

Then I'd say cruiser is on the right track with the MAP being the issue, or something that's making it run too rich.

You may not have emissions testing, but as far as I know disabling emissions controls is still illegal.

You say it's sucking down gas, have you checked MPG?

Well it's getting better now that I switched the map sensor and I won't be able to tell cause I have 5 inch lift on 32 with stock gears
