Renix starting issues
IV got a 90 renix that has recently been giving me problems starting it.
I know the renix usually takes a few extra cranks to start. I know the key on off on fuel prime method.
Here's my issues: A couple days ago it wouldn't start, no matter how hard I tried it wouldn't. I even tried spraying some starting fluid in the TB. I had 1/2 tank of gas and I was parked on a very slight downward slope with Jeep nose up. I pushed it on flat surface, got a jump cus my battery was dead and while cranking it I had a buddy pour fuel into the TB. After a few cranks it started. Its done that 3 days so far. Same symptoms each time. I get some fuel down there and after a few cranks its sputters to a start.
As I tried to trouble shoot I noticed when I pushed the schrader valve on my fuel rail while cranking the.engine I did not get very good pressure at all.
I have not replaced the pump or fuel filter on this one yet. I was thinking my issues is on of those two. What do you all think?
On a side note, it only does it when sitting over night. I can leave it at work and come back 8 htlrs laylter and she starts up fine but overnight about 12 Hrs is where I get problems.

Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the pump and filter. Do not use Airtex pumps.

Well at 4pm I can out on my lunch, Jeep started fine first crank. Just can out at 630 pm to go home and it wont start at all.
Also while waiting for my wife to come down and jump start me I looked into my new(installed in February) 3 core radiator to find this....... super thick sand.
Guess its time to **** my apartments off and use their spicket for a flush.

Can you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key to ON each time?

I'm wondering if the hose inside the tank to the fuel pump isn't rotted.

I made a dumb move not even thinking, after we got my Jeep running I went and filled up both Jeeps. Guess ill have to drop the tank full and tilt it up to do a sending unit.
I think on Tuesday I will be trying a fuel filter then Thursday a sending unit. Probly doing spark plugs too just incase they are related for a bad spark.

That's what happened to our 88 Cherokee. The small little rubber hose was completely desintagrated. I ended up throwing a whole new sending unit in it just cus i never wanted to do it again.

Does this change anything ----
With a full tank of gas the Jeep still does not want to start on its own. Last night it finally started. And I drove it about 6 miles, it was at operating temp, I shut it off. Cane out 45 min later and it started fine.
