Renix Running PaiNs!!
So I planned on going in this morning for new tires for this thing. Started it and, 10-12 seconds later it started doing THE SAME **** all over again. Running super rich, idle is all whack and it’s dying.
I am 1000% absolutely done with this F’N POS!!!. I’ve never in my life had such a crap vehicle! I can’t throw enough money into this pile of garbage, Selling the fuCer and buy something else NOT Jeep!!

LoL well I was going to put out some more ideas, but it sounds like you are pretty certain as to which route you want to pursue. Another one bites the dust. Let me know if you part it out, I may be interested in the fender flares at the right price. Best of luck with your new vehicle.
man I was FUMING this morning!! The ONLY thing that saved this from the fire right now is that I was able to beg and score one of Nicks REM’s. That guy is super cool. I’m not putting another wrench on this thing or a dollar into it until I can see what a scam says. Should be interesting.

Alot of people are in the same boat including myself. Mine is just a lot milder but I still get a small jerk in rpm at idle. I think we're all having a similar issue, just different degrees of severity. Hang in there, you'll figure it out.
These Jeeps are just becoming vintage. The problems of old age are just beginning to show themselves as it takes time for them to develop. Consider yourself a pioneer of Renix repair knowledge. Or just throw a brick on the accelerator and let it fly off a cliff!! Haha
Sad thing is I believe these motors are stout, bullet proof even. It’s the DaMN BS all around it screwing it up! This just RUINED new tire day 🤦♂️
do you have one of the REM’s??

I have been there I know how it feels, if a cliff was near my house it would have been there a few years ago. Stick with it, it is worth it my XJ has been running great ever since I fixed it (knock on wood). I got one of the first REM a few years back I like it because I have a base model cherokee no gauges, just idiot lights. So the REM gives me volts, RPMs and temperature besides all the other information. How old are your distributor cap, rotor and wires? I picked up a car years ago dirt cheap, because the guy could not figure out a miss it had, the new distributor cap he put on had a small crack in it that made it miss. Lucky for me my eye sight was better back then. Good luck

O2 showed a fault after warm.. 🤦♂️
As it was idling it was showing back and forth lean/rich pretty quickly. The engine idle seem to mirror in idle with a little lag compared to what was shown on the REM.
Wondering if I got crap injectors and a crap O2. Found what is labeled as a NOS Mopar O2 on eBay for $100 bucks, but now I’m leery with eBay. Thought I saw a link some where maybe Cruiser posted for a good source for good injectors? Anyone have that link by chance? I would loose my mind if it was the damn O2 all along, this would be like the 4th one. Crazy. Still running like sh*t
