Renix low idle
Alright I have had my rebuilt ho motor in my jeep for a little over a week now. It runs a lot smoother than my old motor. I used all the renix electronics aside from the knock sensor since I broke that upon removing the engine. The issue I'm having is once it warms up it idles real low. It doesn't stumble or seem choked out, the idle is just right above the first hash mark. So around 200 rpm. And again it idles low but it doesn't choke out or stumble it seems to be running fine. I don't know of it's a grounding issue causing this or something else? I did replace the ground strap with a 4 gauge cable and then used the original strap to go from the firewall bolt to a fuel rail bolt. What are all the causes of a low idle?

Did you get all the grounds hooked up to a clean and shiny engine dipstick tube stud? Or is it covered in paint?

Okay I fixed it. I looked inside my throttle body and the butterfly had worn a nice groove into the throttle body. I stuck a wrench on the stop screw and turned it out a smidgen and not it idles nice and good at 700 rpm just like the manual states.
