Ok, first of all I'm going to apologizes for this may be the dumbest question in the history of this forum. I've got a new O2 sensor, and a new TPS. I know the parameters that the TPS is suppose to go into, but how do you read the adjustments? Do I strip the wires to hook the volt meter up to it? Again, sorry for the dumb question

Back probe the connecter with t pins, or sewing pins can work as. Go to google and search cherokeeforum.com renix you will find loads of info on all the sensors.

Well since i was replacing the old O2, I ended up ripping off the wires and stripping them. Using them to adjust the TPS. Got her at 0.8 volts now . I'm still idling high (1500 rpm) when warm. It's got to be the IAC. CTS checks out great, same with the MAF. No Vac leaks. With the new O2, I've got more power and no backfire out the exhaust!

I love my Jeep!

.8,is a rough estimate... try moving it up and down a couple hundredths (.01) you'll find the sweet spot... probably up. Mine revved high at .83 can't remember what it was engine side.. anyhow I went up to .84 and .85 and now it is perfect

I've heard with the auto renix the sweet spot is .84 or .85. With the manual everything says .80. I however do have an auto TPS since it was 40 bucks cheaper than the manual one. Would I need to set her at .85? I'm going to go experiment!
