can some1 tell me when this engine was build?

from my reseach its hould be 02/17/97 right?

 

87-90 is renix and non ho and 91+ is high out put. Has previous owner said anything about the block being changed? Can u post a pic?

 

no no info from previous owner but here is a pic of the Numbers

 

There should be a another set of numbers on the driver side by the motor mount. That engine looks like stock renix, I don't any sighns of high out put. Not a 97. The thermostat housing is stock, if it was a 91 or newer u have to use a ho thermostat housing and extend the temp sensor to plug into it.

but i cant see anything on the drivers side ( intake manifold blocking everything )
so whats my engine build date from the numbers i posted? 702M17
