You should have 1 bolt on the axle for each shock. Unscrew the bolt and sometime LIGHTY tap the back of it and it will just slide right off

all that shizer might work, but try my way first. You don't have to disconnect anything. Maybe its just mine it works on, but I found my trick on the forum somewhere about a year ago.

When i took mine out, it was really really close, like a 1/4 inch or so was hanging up on the inspection plate on the bell housing, i just took a big *** flat head screw driver and put the one end up on top and wedged it in there and just pried on it, and it poped out, you have to do the same to get it back in though.

Only thing I did was disconnect the sway bar. Running somewhere around 4" of lift.

oh man........the shocks are really easy to take out, just look at where their connected.....few bolts and she is ready to come out......may need a hammer....the control arms are what is connecting the front axle to the unibody of your Jeep. those are easy to take out too, just need some simple everyday tools and your set....

Is it a common problem that the oil pan gasket leaks? Or the rear main seal? I think that is whats goin on with mine. The bottom of my oil pan and the around it looks like it has a oil leak, but there is never any oil under it. Just tranny fluid.
