Removing the front axle
I have to swap out my BAD rear main seal...
So i understand how to do it from just removing the oil pan but i see that you have to remove the front axle...
any advice?

Why? Its a ton more work. Put the frame on jackstands, drop the axle as far as it will with without the wheels on it. Lots of room. I have 2 that need to be done, but they aren't "bad enough" yet.

pull the axle? No need.
Jack it up really high and put some jackstands under the framerails. Lower it back down and let the front axle droop, pull the wheels if you need to for more clearance.

It can be done in about 4 hours. No real need to drop the axle to do the job. If you have swaybar discos then let the axle hang down and you have plenty of room.

Blue.. I was told to let it drain all the oil over night.. should it? or just get in there and get messy?

I drained mine while I was eating lunch and I did that with a warm but not hot engine. Just ran enough to get it situated where I wanted it in the garage.

you just have dissconnect the swaybar, and track bar so the axle will lower down far enough to get the oil pan off
