I wasn't trying to knock anyone I was just saying I don't know how or why they would replace aftermarket rotors that have nothing to do with the recall. I will be going in to get me some new rotors though!

I took my 1996 in for some work last November and they informed me there was an open campaign ( recall ) and asked me if I wanted to schedule getting it done.

So long as the parts are available to the dealer, they will do the recalls.

My 1998 XJ has a 3" lift and 30x9.5 15 Nothing really big but I had no problems. If I am not mistaken the recall on the rotors was for excessive rusting and and warping. Nothing really to do with tire size or lift. But then I don't know how much lift you have or tire size. It wont hurt to give it a try if you still have the original rotors.

Wait until your shoulder heals then pull the interior out and fix the floor or pay someone to do it.

You may want to call around to other dealers. It can't hurt to try.
Good Luck

I forgot about this thread. What was weird is I went in for a neutral safety switch recall and they did the brakes too. My brakes were brand new. Like I had just replaced them that week and they did it anyway.

Do you have bad rotors? If I had good rotors, I wouldn't waste my time.

I don't have time, can you get rotors for me too? Send them by email or PM.
