Rear Transmission Seal Leak?

Rear Transmission Seal Leak?
Do all XJ's leak at least just a bit from the rear auto transmission seal? I've replaced the seal twice (an SKB seal the first time, a Crown seal on the second attempt) and while MUCH improved, still seeing a drop or so at the seam between the trans and xfer case.
I replaced the front facing xfer case input shaft seal also but xfer case fluid level doesn't ever drop. I'm assuming that seal remains good and is NOT the culprit.
Just wondering if zero leakage is only a dream.
