I know nobody here is a fan of rear sway bars at all, but since I'm building my Jeep to be my winter DD in Maine, I'm wondering if ZJ rear sway bars will bolt on to an XJ... Anyone tried this?

 

no and I wouldn't , I drive mine in the snow and have no issues without a sway bar

 

Unless you tow a big boat leave it out.

 

dont put one on! they are pointless! and if you have one on there now take it off!

 

XJ's can run be run with no rear sway with not too many problems where other jeeps need them to not shimmy when goin down the road. if you look at the stock one, it is very small in diameter, but like was said, unless you do a lot of towing with your XJ, you should be fine without it.
