Replacing rear shocks during the lift and all four bolts to the upper shock mounts snapped clean off. Now it's time for a solution because extracting won't be easy.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Yes. First, this subject has been covered many times in the forum. You could do a search. But anyway, this is one fix. The nuts that the upper shock bolts screw into are just tack welded in place. Use a punch and hammer to knock them free. It normally takes just a couple of solid hits to break the nut free. Then use a rust resistant nut and bolt in the upper shock mounts.

Once the old weld-nuts are out you can either tape (just enough so they don't fall off, you want to be able to pull the wrench off) new nuts to a box-end wrench hold them over the holes and thread new bolts in from below or "fish" new bolts and lock washers in with wire and then thread the nuts on from below both methods work equally well, not sure which is easier (neither is particularly difficult). You can get a combination wrench through the large cutout in the mount to hold the bolt/nut from above as you tighten it with a ratchet from below.
Note: make sure the replacement bolts are either SAE Grade-8 or Metric Class 10.9.

Hey guys I appreciate your ideas. It looks like and air hammer was the way to go. Thanks again and sorry for not taking the time to search, I didn't really have it.

When you have the nuts punched out, Wrap wire around the threads of a 5/16X1&1/2 inch grade 8 bolt that has a washer on it. Fish the wire through the hole and pull the bolt through. Use a locknut and regular bolt to get it tight. I follow uo with a nylon locknut myself. There are pic of this. Just use the search tool.

Or ----
The first time I did this I fished a bolt and washer down through the cross member, worked great. Later I did what's in the pic just for fun.

What happened to you is very common and posted about many times. I might suggest you use SS hardware when you replace the nuts and bolts then that problem won't reappear.

JKS Adjustable Cross-Over Shock Mount <---<<< Clicky
That looks pretty cool. Where does it mount? Does it make the stock mounts just... irrelevant?
Oh, and "clicky"? Seriously? I figure if somebody is too stupid to figure out a link, he shouldn't be on the Internet!

Nevermind, it uses the original shock mounting location.

And the "clicky" may seem like it's unneeded.....but it really is.
