Rear end howel please help

Default Rear end howel please help

Driving home tonight and my rear started howling, it's a 2000 xj, 4 inch lift that's 3 months old and has 153,000 miles, it only howels when on gas and not when I'm off

Sounds like your bearings are going out in your rear end. Same kinda sound that mine made when they went bad.

my pinion bearing has gone out twice in my chrysler 8.25. 164k miles on the 97 XJ. Not cheap...

Fluid changes, a functioning vent hose that is high enough to prevent water from entering the axle.
