Rear drum brake conversion
Pulled the parts off a 98 ZJ and have a quick question. Do I NEED to use the zj proportion valve? Also the rear discs are 9 inch on the ZJ right?

No, but it's recommended to use the "guts" from it. I did the disc conversion and have the guts from the ZJ valve to go into my XJ valve, but haven't done it yet and it works fine.
