Rear bumper parts
I have a 1994 XJ that I’m replacing the stock bumper on. I ordered the replacement stock parts. Short version of a long story the old bumper went to the dump hardware and all without my knowing it. I can not find a list of hardware I need or how many. Does anyone have a suggestion? Called the Jeep dealership body shop and they were unable to help. LostJeep

Front or rear? Not exactly sure about your title, "Rear bump". I assume you are talking about the rear bumper but please confirm. Which parts are you missing? Where are you located?

It’s the whole original stock rear bumper assembly. I need to know what hardware is needed. I ordered the replacement bumper,2 brackets , 2 end caps and the rubber strip that fills the space between the actual bumper and frame. None of it came with hardware to attach them. Without my being aware of it because the Jeep is not at my house my uncle took the old bumper to the dump. I now have nothing to reuse or match.
This is the type of thing I needed but for a 1994 XJ. The end caps are different so I think they mount on differently. I think from this image though I can figure that part out. Thank you so much for your time and patience. I was given this Jeep that sat in someone’s garage for 12 years with 68000 miles on it and I can’t wait to get it on the road. LostJeep

I left my stick that has the parts manual on at work. I can check tomorrow to see if I have the '94 parts manual. And congrats on finding the "lost Jeep"!

The bracket to body bolts are M10x1.50x30mm, so my notes say. IIRC the single hole at the bottom took a U nut, but dont know what size thread as i didnt write that part down. No clue about the strip between the bumper as every 96 and older XJ i came across were missing it altogether. The caps had a post on the backside for a push on washer, but im not sure you even need one.
Thank you everyone. The responses I’ve gotten give me enough to get the major parts on and the “decorative” pieces l can rig. The best advice I’ve received so far From a parts supplier was “Join a Jeep forum they know everything or can find it quicker”. He was right. Thanks again!!!
