checked my rear brakes a cpl days ago .. not totally worn out, but is on the to do list

didnt measure them .. forgot how my last jeep .. had 2 options for brake shoes .. looked up parts for this 1 .. 9 & 10 inch are listed

93 HO, 4x4, 8.25 rear

and .. what is a good brand to get ? chain store stuff ? I got time to do them .. wouldnt mind getting something good .. luckily the cylinders were dry .. good stuff

but will swap them out too .. do a nice refurb . drums look ok ... thnx

I had same problem. Do all 8.25 have 9"? Cuz I measured diameter of the drum and it was a little over 10" so I chose the 10" but I have t put them on yet

9" just bought some a month or two ago.

 

As far as I know the JX's with the police package had the 10". The easiest way to tell it the 10" brakes drum have fins and the 9" do not.

 

I think 10 inch was the police package, or some kind of package. The MAJORITY are 9 in drums.

 

So than measuring them is an accurate was of telling what my size is?
