Lightbulb rear brakes =/

ok so my jeep failed inspection because the rear brakes were, well not exactly present mostly.....

so i replaced EVERYTHING (wheel cylinders, rear lines, shoes, hardware) except the drums since the shop said they were good to go! the driver's side went perfect, but the passenger side is sticking open just enough to drag pretty good. the shoes just wont fully retract inward! so any ideas? i replaced the wheel cylinders too.... maybe the wrong shoes? they all were the same size......

Maybe make sure there is not an issue with the E-brake? Cable frayed inside? Also Pull the other drum to compare and make sure you got the works in there right. With the drum off can you manually push the shoe back? Spring in the right hole? Don.

Look at the backing plates where the shoes ride. A burr or rough spot can keep the shoes from retracting. Smooth it out if it's rough.

did you adjust the shoes to set drag after the shoe repalcement?

sounds like and adjsutment issue if it wasn't done, other wise i would pull both drums and make sure its set up correctly, compair the correctly working side to the dragging side.
