Rear brake line leak.
I noticed a sinking brake pedal yesterday. look in reservoir bone dry. Checked all wheels. Right rear drum has fluid all over the back side some on tires. These are steel lines. How hard is this to fix. Also should I replace the hose on the axle. I have an uncle with the tools that can help me with the project. Also need it done tomorrow. This is my daily driver.
Thanks,
Ben

If you are that unfamiliar with brake work and the operation of the system, I would suggest getting some help from a knowledgeable friend, relative, or mechanic.

I'm afraid he's right Ben. You probably want to go through the rears. New wheel cylinders, new shoes, check/turn the drums. There might not be much wear on that rubber flex line.
The good news is the parts are not that spendy. Really though you need to have someone "show you the ropes". With help you could just get in there, try to clean the soaked shoes with brake cleaner and install one wheel cylinder...but that's close to the same $, and about the same work as doing it right.
You might make sure the bleeder nipple is not loose and leaking though.....Or the nut holding the brake line on the cylinder.

brakes sucks... lol i just had to replace both my brake cylinders that didnt even have 10k on em, the bleeder valves sheered off. in the process of replacing em, i also broke the hard brake line and had to reflare em. flaring aint hard but getting the brake line to the right length and screwing in both fittings is the trick.
this forums taught me everything. started stock with very basic mechanical knowledge. hell the first time i did an oil change, i drained the transmission fluid.. now i got long arms to install and new motor mounts and brackets too. just recently installed new fuel injectors. theres write ups for damn near everything out here, and if there aint, someones workin on making one.
