$100 for the unuseable Aussie Locker?

Since the Dana 35 and Dana 30 (front) are both 27 spline, the locker should work for the front.
Tabs on differential cover refer to the gear ratio of axle.

I can do $200 for the locker. I paid a lot more for it and I will be paying out the nose for shipping wherever it goes. And thank you about the tabs. I had no clue lol.

I know this is an older thread that got dug up...but since it's above ground now... I've got one question for the masses that I'm curious about too...

Now I'm fully aware that the D35 gets peed on by a lot of people... Would I love to have a D44 or even D60 swap in mine? .....do bears crap in the woods?... well of course...but that can be a lot of moolah and time that I just don't have to put into it... And getting the seal of approval for that kind of cost on the Jeep from my wife would take some special strategies too.

What is ya'lls honest opinion, personal experience etc... with a D35 that has an LSD?
My XJ was originally some sort of a service vehicle build. Not the full police package, but it does have some of those things, and those parts weren't swapped out... they are on the build sheet. I've guessed that she was built as possibly say for mountain/forest service.
I'm only the 2nd owner she's ever had. It was owned by a county since new...and fairly decently maintained. Needed some things when I got her a few years ago...but very low miles.
When I used to live on the side of a mountain in Colorado and northern AZ... that LSD worked great in the wintertime... Now I've only done quite moderate trails with her as I've only got a 2 inch lift with new longer shocks and new full rear leaves, and 235s...the rest of the suspension is stock.
I know the LSD isn't that strong...but for what I've used it for thus far, has done me well. Would love to upgrade at some point if I get the funds and approval... but as she stands now.. what are your thoughts? at least it's not an open diff... lol

My thoughts ? Unless your going to slap on big meats low gears and go bogging or crawl the rocks, it's more than fine as is.

I was surprised to find out that mine had the LSD.... I don't know how true the statement is/was....but the jeep shop that I took it to that specialised in older jeeps (before I had all my tools state side with me to do it myself).... told me that the LSD on the D35 was not a common option. Generally used on service model builds... which fits perfect in line with the PO of mine. It was owned by a gov't forest agency since new before I got it.
And was pretty well maintained in house.... just needed the usual wear items and general all around TLC a private owner would give it.

I do plan on stepping up to 31s for the next set of shoes though... so not huge...but getting further away from stock 215s. I've got 225s on it now.
