its correct, some models of D35,C8.25,D44 had rubber plugs if i remember correctly. don't base it on the rubber plug.

so according to this picture I have a C8.25 rear axle in my jeep when all along I thought I had a Dana 35 but my question is what are these tabs bolted fast to my diff cover? Guess that means I'm stuck with a brand new Dana 35 Aussie locker that I can't use, cause I needed a c8.25.
