I have a 1989 xj factory two-door cherokee with four wheel drive and manual 5-speed transmission, an inline 6 engine with wiring for a light bar, brush guard, and ski racks. Does anyone know a good collector?

Are you asking if we know someone who would want to buy your vehicle?
yes. I know it's a long shot but I'm a broke high school/ college student and with the rising gas prices I can't afford to keep her (my jeep) going. I'm wanting to find a good collector so I know that she will be well taken care of. Any suggestions help. Thank you!
Agreed... with Trailer and Cruiser....
While rust free XJ's in good condition are are desirable by those who love old jeeps, and yes they have been going up in value over the past couple of years in that condition, the word "rare" doesn't really enter the conversation.
If yours is clean in that respect and good mechanical condition.... you still might be able to get a decent price for it. I'd test out the waters on different platforms and see what you get

trying different platforms is what I'm currently doing. However, because my 89 jeep cherokee is a factory two- door and there were Mayne only 5-10% of those built in these years and those surrounding, that alone makes her rare. Given the fact that only half of that 5-10% was 4wd, that makes her even more rare. I understand this doesn't mean a lot to everyone, but I'm simply asking If anyone knows a good collector or two. Thank you all for your help and comments

Certainly not trying to knock your rig my fellow jeep brother...... When I found the build sheet for mine, the shop that I was having do some work specialised in older jeeps and said they had never seen a factory build quite like mine. It was originally a service vehicle build (Forest I believe), but also had a couple other options on it that were not standard even for that lower build number.... and I guess because Jeep built so many of these around the world... I just never considered it to be "rare". A bit unique and cool to me...but that was about it.
If I had something that was in great condition and lower build numbers and especially with low mileage... I'd probably be partial to seeing it go to someone that would take good care of it too.... so I feel ya.

If it's in really good condition, try listing it with BringATrailer.com. Nice XJs have been bringing crazy money on there. It's gotta be special, though, or they won't accept the listing.
Post some pics. That always helps determine a starting point. Shots of the exterior, interior, maybe the engine, and mileage. And anything it may need that you feel may affect the asking price.
We could give you a good idea of what price to ask if you post some pictures. I would not call it rare, but I would call it desirable. There are quite a few people who would be interested in a good condition XJ (me included).
Just how bad is your gas mileage that you want to sell it?

the mileage is 248948, however the original owner before me used to tow it around but never disconnected the drive shaft so it added another 100,000 to the milage but she drives like she's only barely hitting 150,000 If even that
