randumb stall at idle
hey
every now and a again this dam thing will stall out when idling or letting the engine go to an idle when driving. but if you hold the pedal just a smidgen to keep the rpm up over 6-800. it'll run but off of that idle will just die.
Hot or cold. doesn't matter, it will only do it when it wants. did 4 days at least 300 miles driving no problems. till it stalled 3 times. then has 3 more days and it hasnt done it yet.
thanks for any help you can give!

There are a number of possibilities, but the #1 cause is a marginal battery. It is very common to see stalling with a failing battery.
And yes, you CAN have a strong enough battery to start the engine, but have it be marginal enough to not keep the "engine management" system happy, therefore the stalling.
Have a parts store LOAD TEST the battery. Load testing is the ONLY accurate way of determining battery condition. Any parts store will do this for you for free, in the hopes of selling you a new battery if you need one.
Good luck and let us know what you find!
