Random loss of power and engine dyeing while driving.
My 1990 Cherokee has started to randomly die while I'll be driving it. The RPMs take a dive then the engine dies and when I try to crank it over nothing. I then have to proceed to get out pop the hood and mess with the battery terminals. Do I need to just clip back the wires and reattach them to the terminals or do I have a bigger problem on my hands?

I had a similar issue, I cut open my battery cables to find them full of green corrosion. I replaced both cables and cleaned up grounds (at battery and engine). . I'm not saying this is your problem, but its a good 1st start.
