Start then Stall, Then Loss of Power while Driving

Start then Stall, Then Loss of Power while Driving
XJ started up fine, then died. Then started it again and drove, then died 10 minutes WHILE DRIVING. Mechanic can't figure it out either. Anyone with this problem? argh!
Also, just found water in the passenger foot well..... New windshield 5 years ago to fix original leak.
Ideas anyone?

It sounds like it may be you CPS. A lot of mechanics over look the cps because they don't know how to check them and a lot of time it is hard to check.
