Default Rain Gutters

Alright so I'm in the process of doing body work and painting my XJ.

I removed the original rain gutter trim pieces because they were dented from my roof rack mounts.

I want to install new ones and I know they "roll on" to the rain gutter itself, but cant seem to think of a technique to install them without messing them up a little.....

Any ideas?

No, they kind of roll on to the clips rather than just snap on, they would be too easy to remove if they were that way.

I can have them off without damaging them in about 30 seconds. Roll them up toward the roof.

Yeah I can take them off pretty easily too, my problem is putting them on.

"Installation is the reverse of removal".

I know that. Installation requires a pushing force vs. a pulling force.

The problem is trying to apply enough pressure in the right spots and keeping from damaging the new rain gutter trim in the process.

LOL yes, its funny my jeep was a limited and i find i downgrade it more and more as far as bells and whistles go, yet my civic was bare bones basic and ive used wrecker parts to upgrade it to Si status minus the engine.....same with my VW golf before the civic was base model by the time i sold it looked like a GTI inside

I really don't know how I got the one off. When I got to my friend's house it was gone! then his little brother ran over something shiny with his dirtbike
