Default Radiator fan shroud bolts / screws?

99 XJ, noticed that the fan shrouds are rattling a bit and They are clipped off so no way to tighten them down further. I would just like to replace the fan shroud bolts / screws that are made to hold it in properly but cannot find the part number or exact type or screw / bolt that I need to find to replace these missing ones. Any help is appreciated!

I grab the clip nuts and the related bolts on trips to the junkyard.

I bought new clip nuts and new screws at Lowe's. Both 6 MM.

Take an old clip nut with you to Lowe's to match it up with what they have.

ACE Hardware is another good source.

Problem is all 4 spots on the shroud and fan mounts are zip tied on right now there's no original clips or screws to take to a hardware store to compare. Would any 6mm clip nuts and screws work for those upper 4 mounts? I have to take it off to do the belt there anyway but I don't want to zip tie the fan and shroud back on bc it rattles and I'm worried it'll eventually break loose and hit the belt

I assume if you used 6mm any clip nut and screw that size should work.

Not really. It takes special clip nuts. I'll see if I can go to Lowe's tomorrow and find some, take a pic, then return them (tee hee). I'll post a pic if I can do this. I bought the last ones they had in stock a couple of months ago.

Oh jeez I appreciate it! But that's a lot of work on your end, don't wanna have to have you do that. Is there any way you can Google image search clip nuts and maybe just post the pic of the kind that's needed? I found a lot of different style ones just doing a Google search already but Im not sure which ones are needed.

I wouldn't have posted if I wanted to keep the same problem as I currently have. It already has metal zip ties now, you cant get it zip tied on with how the holes lay in relation to the radiator holes without it rattling. I want an actual fix to the issue.

Ok I think I found the factory ones in case anyone ever needs this info. Looks to be parts (12) and (15). And of course they don't have either listed for sale on the page lol....

Went to Lowe's and Home Depot and they didn't have them.

Found one in my junk box. Here's some pics of it.

The screw is M6x1.0x20MM. The clip takes the same size.

NAPA may have the clips. They have a selection of these things. Home Depot has the screws but Lowe's doesn't.
