yours is a 97? oh boy, it takes alot of self control. i helped replace one while back and it took 2 days. mainly the un-hooking and re-hooking is tough.

Yea radiator is a piece of cake... Just finished pulling the one from my 99 a few minutes ago to swap out it took me all of 15 min but I've done it a few times. A 8mm, 10mm & 3/4 for the lines and your good to go. Its an easy swap and replacment part is only about 1 bill.

Thanks guys, yup it's cheaper than a car payment, good perspective ! Just getting a bit fed up having had 2 repairs in 2 weeks, just leaves me wondering what next, this is my every day drive and I can't have it off the road all the time with stuff breaking I think I might replace the rad and get rid of it

Easy job, the only tip I've got is make sure you have the correct tool to undo one of the trans. Lines.

Yes, if you don't have the tool for the trans line you may be there for a little while trying to get it out. All you need is one of those fuel filter disconnects and it will come right off.

Yea, the disconnet makes it easy but no need to buy one... Its easy to improvise something for it. I couldn't find mine so I just cut about an inch off a funnel end and split it to slid on the line... Works like a charm any hard plastic will work when used similarly.

First step is to remove the 10mm bolts holding on the top rad support. There's 3 on each side (2 on top and 1 in front) (see first pic). Then you'll need to get the 4 10mm nuts of that connect it to the header panel (pic2) Then remove the 2 other 10mm nuts holding the rad to the support (pic3)
The piece I'm holding in front of it is atually mounted below the support on top of the rad.
Now that the header panel is loose, remove the 4 8mm bolts holding on the fan shroud and efan
With the fan shroud and efan out of the way (at this point the top radiator support lifts out of the way and should be set aside for better access) you can now easily remove the top and bottom rad hose (no pics for this, it's pretty straight forward )
Now using a 3/4 open end wrench remove the top hard line and using a disco tool unhook the bottom line as well.
With all the lines now unhooked you can simply lift the radiator out... Oh yea remember that piece that I was holding in front earlier? Make sure you pull it from the old rad before discarding it...
Hope that covers it good enough for ya and I got the pics in the right order lol Any questions or clarifiation needed don't hesitate to ask. I did this real quickly....
