I know that many of you have removed your seats for some reason or another, but I wanted to check about the two front bolts on the front seats:

What holds those two front bolts on?? Are there loose nuts holding the front two bolts on under the jeep, or do they screw into a threaded part of the frame?? I can see under the vehicle where the one rear bolt comes down and the other goes up, however I cannot see the other side of the front two bolts since they go in sideways rather than straight down. Its a 99 XJ.

Also, does anybody know if they wired all 99 XJs for power seats?? Came across some cheap used heated/power leather WJ seats and am going to try to at least hook up the heat and the recline if possible (I know they mount straight to my regular manual XJ sliders but will try for power recline/heat if I can). Thanks--

 

on the 99 cherokee there is a nutsert pressed into the floor. and it would be pretty easy to run a wire for power seats because all you will need is a power and a ground.
