I picked up some used bfg all terrains the other day and threw them on for the heck of it. (they were FOC so I couldnt pass them up) With stock wheels when I turn shaply they rub my control arms. Will aftermarket wheels with a different offset prevent this? I know lift will give me more fender clearance but all the lift in the world won't change the clearance at the control arms.
Just curious for solutions down the road when I make permanent mods.

If you like the look of the stock wheels just get some spacers. I you decide to go with new wheels make sure you get them with enough back space.

So what backspacing do I need? In looking at wheels specifically for a jeep most list 4 1/2 (i think). But I know you can put lots of others on it also. I just want to know because when I lift and purchase new rims I dont want to still have this same issue.
