quick question on back lit switches..Pics added!
Are the Rear Defrost and Rear Wiper switches backlit when not in use?
They both work...and the Defrost lights up when in use....but not the rear wiper...but it does work.
Just wondering?

don't know about yours, but my 89 has a small hole where the light shines through on the rear defrost, but the wiper one does not, so it won't be lit up. Defrost light only comes on when you put it on.

Yes they both are supposed to be back lit. There are little tiny bulbs behind the dash that are burned out.

And a pic....(not very good) of the lights on and what shows up and what does not...keep in mind nothing Rear Defrost or wiper is not on...just looking for backlight.

By the way for those who are curious...the EXT IDLE button is used to raise the Idle up a rew hundred rpms....helps warm up the car a bit faster in the mornings....
