Default Stuck on removing subpanel

Simply put, I am tired of having zero heat in this Jeep. My wife and daughter are the ones who have to drive it and they nearly freeze when they have to just go to the store. I would prefer to take this to a mechanic, but I have put to much money in the Jeep this year and I honestly cannot afford to do so.

Right now I am stuck and frustrated trying to get the sub panel off so that I have access to the area that houses the Heater Core. I currently have the center console off, as well as all the plastic panels that you would see sitting down in the drivers seat. I also have the glove compartment off. I followed some instructions from another forum that talks about doing all those steps that I had done, but to also remove the 5-6 bolts next to the window and the 2 bolts next to where the console attaches itself to the instrument panel, this was supposed to allow me to simply pull the dash off and bypass removing layer after layer. I removed the bolts, but I can not get this to even budge. What else should I do to get access so that I can replace the heater core. I have one more day off before I have to call it good until next weekend.

Sorry for any confusion in what I have typed. My brain is fried from trying to figure this out for two days.

Thanks for the response. Yes I have the center console removed and I have those large bolts removed. Actually there was four, I looked further and found a half shaped metal plate reinforcing the panel down. So, there were actually 4 bolts down there.

I can take pictures after breakfast to show where I am at with things.

Thanks!

My hubby and I did it!! We fixed our heater core!! Not bad for a
computer nerd and a homemaker! Of course, we had several arguments! : )
Thanks to all who helped give us advice about how to remove the dash
and what things to look for!
We removed everything! What can we say?! All signs and advice told us the core was bad. We were a little wrong.
FYI: Flush out the core!! We thought we did. Stuck a garden hose to it
at least 4-5 times and got some gunk out but a lot of clear water. It
was then figured that the heater core had to be bad. Well, needless to
say, how many hours, days, and weeks later, it wasn't.
My husbands, mechanic professor friend, suggested to take the old core that we removed to a radiator shop and get it flushed before we put the new core on to see if it was salvageable.
We did. Holy cow!! ADVICE: Flush the core with pressurized water first!!! (Looked like a pressure washer hose used for cleaning houses before painting). He laid down the core, sprayed the water in and out the crud came.
Literally, 3-4 minutes of brown crud oozed out of that core. Now we
have great heat, returned the new core and our Jeep is working for
under $50!
If only, we'd known to use pressurized water first, we could've fixed
this Jeep in less than 10 minutes! Oh well, we learned a new skill.
AS THE MONTY PYTHON BOYS SAY: ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE!!

Glad to hear you took care of it. If you don't mind me asking, where would you blow it out so that you could do it in 10 minutes?
