Default quick flywheel help

Trying to do the flywheel knock fix but I can't get the flywheel to turn. Literally staring it in the face as we speak. Have the xj in neutral. How do I rotate it to get to each bolt?

Nvm it turns as you try to tighten the bolts. All my bolts are still tight, and that tick is still there. Sounds like an egg timer...

Let me put the inspection cover back on before I crawl back under there with the engine running...

Had the exact same problem and tried the same thing, took out each bolt, cleaned and put red thread locker on each and still had a rattle.

Long story short it was the cat. converter, it was destroyed on the inside. Might want to take it off and see if any thing is rattling around in there.

its so hard to tell because its so faint...

Performed an ancient indian technique, of holding a screwdriver to ones ear and placing on ones jeep parts. Right on the oil pan, I can hear everything functioning, definitely no ticks though. Almost want to say a pully, though hard to tell.
