My 2001 xj fuel lines are lookin very rusty. I was wondering how I would go about replacing them, could I bend my own? Or do I need to get pre bents?

You will need a tube bender to bend your own without kinking and pinching the line.
You can use this also in the future for brake lines service. You should be able to purchase at Napa or other parts stores, perhaps even an rent or loaner service available. If you like having your own tools, then buy a small hand held bender. (Don't tell your brother in law or he will borrow it, forget to bring it back, and end up breaking it.)

I'm pretty sure they're stainless steel, which means they don't rust... Try rubbing the dirt off them, you might be surprised that they're actually in perfect condition.

Not usually one for bringing up older threads, but did you manage to check/replace your fuel lines? Mine are rusty too and don't think they will pass next inspection (or MOT as it is known in the UK). Unfortunately we can't buy them over here so I will need to either make my own, or purchase from your side of the pond

Turns out it was my brake line thats, lookin mighty rusty, my fuel line looks pretty good, i think its stainless steel. I have no idea about what you got over there on that rainy rock but you can just buy the line and rent a hand bender from a parts store and make your own. I didint even know you could buy premade lines
