Question with horn relay
Hi Everyone,
I am new member from Toronto, Canada!
I have been a proud owner of a 1988 XJ for 15 years with over 350k kms and I am happy with my jeep offroad and on paved road. Recently I have a problem with the horn so I started to trace the problem. I have confirmed both horns are working by direct wire connection from the battery, I have already checked the fuse box. my next step is to check the relay. Is there a horn relay used for the XJ, if yes, where can I locate it? Also, there are 4 relays located on the side fender near the battery. I found out the 2 (closer to the firewall) of the 4 are for AC and the fuel pump, what about the other 2 closer to the front near the battery?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
