Question about alignment and steering wheel after 3.0in lift
I installed a 3in lift last night from fatbobs garage. It was front springs, shocks, track bar relocation kit, rear shocks and add a leaf.
I knew I had to get an alignment, but is it normal for my whell to be a half a turn off? When I was done I went to go for a test ride and noticed the steering wheel was way off and of course the alignment was way off. So I was wondering if this is normal after installing a lift.

Yes this is normal. Try not to drive it to much before you get it aligned. You can screw up your tires in a hurry. The reason it is off is you change the length in a sense of your drag link. If you just want your steering wheel close set your tires straight ahead and turn the adjuster that comes right off your drag link end at your pitman arm. Just turn it and have someone inside tell you when the wheel is straight. This will change the wheel position but won't affect your alignment at all.
Thanks guys!! I am going ot have it aligned next week. As you can tell I am new to jeeps and 4 wheeling in general. I am having a blast with my jeep so far though. I also just got some rims and tires for it as well.
