Default Question on a 1997s Engine and Trans mounts..

I dont do much wheeling and my XJ isnt my daily driver neither. Both the trans and engine mounts are shot. I really dont want to spend 100 bucks on motor mounts plus a trans mount... Would the stockers suffice for my needs with the jeep? Or is it a suck it up type of thing and get Irons or Browndogs?

Also, has anyone located the part number for the trans mount from either Napa or Advance auto? Id rather get it from Advance because I get 40% off of my order online... Thanks!

Oh by the way I have a 1997 XJ 4.0l

If you get the stock ones and fill it in with window weld RTV silicone they'll last aaaaalot longer than just normal stock ones.

You'll be fine with stockers.

I just ordered two motor mounts and a trans mount from www.rightnowautoparts.com for $38.05 w/shipping to northern Illinois. NAPA was about $70. I can't vouch for the quality yet, but the price is right. I ordered from them before and got it fast and the quality was OEM. The part numbers for my '97 XJ are: EM2625 and EM2572.

Good call, I was going to suggest rockauto.com. Cheapest prices I've seen for anything.

They come individually, just indicate the quantity at checkout.

UPDATE: When I went through the checkout procedure I got a Microsoft certificate expired warning. I didn't have a problem last time so I just ignored the warning, but I did email their CS and was told that they were switching to another site called: http://www.autopartstomorrow.com/ and the original site is going down soon. I checked their new site out and found some technical bugs and advised them of them.

Again, I can't vouch for these people but it might be another place to check for parts/prices and availability. Yep, Rockauto rocks.
