Has anyone made a snorkel out of PVC? I have do it to ATVs, but never to a car or truck. Any input on size and if this can be done?

Thanx for the Links, now another quik question. The shorter the snokel and less bend the better the breathing right? And do you think a 2 inch pipe will let the engine breath fine?
well the less restrictive the better same as exhaust, but I think anything smaller than the TB is bad, and anything way bigger than the TB is also bad bc it wont get more air in, only a certain amount of air can,, so ill go about 2.5 to 3", if you dont want to go the full 3 go 2.5

Same as the tires sticking pass the flares. If anything sticks pass the flares to far, most cops would over look but some are dicks.
The pvc if don right does look that bad. The smaller ones don't now big ones do.
I'm going to look at my options, but for now I ain't worried about a snokel.

, you'd want more than 2.5" tube for airflow. That would be too restrictive, IMHO!! Later!!
