Default Is this the proper Blower Motor Resistor for my car?

Hey guys. Brand new to this Jeep stuff. The first thing I want to fix is the fan only working on setting 4.

Read it needs to have the blower motor resistor replaced. Ive found a bunch of places selling the part online with huge differences in the price.

I found this one on Amazon that says its compatible for 16.62...but it has that weird plastic piece sticking off the side that ive never seen in any other photo.

Will this fit my 1998 Cherokee sport?

Thanks for any info!

You can always pick one up at any auto parts store that way if for some reason you can always take it back. If I'm not mistaken I paid $13 at auto zone about a year ago. BTW It does look like it may be it. I'm not 100% sure if they are different for different years.
