Default Prevent Rubbing

If i put coil spacers on my stock 90 xj, will it prevent rubbing. Last night i put 31"s on my xj, and it rubs when i turn so will the coil spacers lft it high enough to prevent the rub?

my 99 rubs the plastic bumper caps with 31"s and 3" of lift when flexed, so my guess would be no, unless they are some big spacers.

Depends on where you are rubbing... If rubbing in fenders and body, maybe, might need to trim. If rubbing on suspension, no.

I have a 3" lift and my 31" MTR's rub on the lower control arms...imagine my delight after installing the lift! I am looking at tubular lowers to solve problem instead of grinding on them

I have had the same probelm if you read my other thread. I had to use wheel spacers and coil spacers to prevent rubbing on my XJ. I had to cut the front an rear fenders also.

You need to adjust the steering stop, and/or change backspacing of the wheels, it's possible you will rub tubular arms, also.
