Default Power window motor acting up on auto-down

I replaced my driver's side (master) window/lock/mirror switch recently because all three other window switches stopped working. They still opened fine using the master switch, so I figured that was the problem. It was, and all the window switches work properly now. The problem is when I use the auto-down feature on the driver's window (second click of the switch), the motor no longer cuts off after the window hits the bottom stop. It's as if I were still holding the switch down. I can verify this because the other windows operate more slowly after I auto-open the driver's window, and they'll speed up to normal if I open the driver's window just a hair, as it cuts off the motor when I reverse the direction.

Any idea what's going on here? Faulty master switch? I think it's a Crowne switch, so it's not exactly Mopar.

I think you are having the same problem that I was having in my '00 only going up not down.
It would not auto stop and trying to keep going up as long as I kept my finger on the button.
New regulator solved that problem. What is wrong with the regulator that causes this I have
not been able to determine. Played with a bad one that did this one day and nothing jumped
out at me.
I have had been luck with the Napa regulators which are just rebranded Dorman one.
No surprise there. First one lasted 6 months, second one 6 years and now I am on my third.
They have a lifetime warranty so it is not that big a deal because it is a relatively easy job.
I think when this one craps out though I am going to try this one.

What has me wondering if it's actually the regulator is I could swear this problem only started happening when I replaced the driver's master switch. Could the switch cause this issue? I suppose it's possible the regulator was on its way out and me removing the door panel caused enough disturbance to put it over the edge. I still have the old one switch, so I'll need to pop off the door panel and try the other one to see if that's part of the problem.
