I just replaced the power steering pump about a month go. I was driving home and my power steering pump pulley shattered. I don't think I had it pressed down enough so it was missed aligned with all other pulleys. My question is how far should I press the pulley on to the pump?
Thanks in advance

I remember having issues until I used a good power steering press tool (not the stupid bolt + washer the pump came with)

It needs to be completely flush with the shaft. I used some grease to help it slide on better
