After talking with various parts places and searching Auto Junk yards I have thrown in the towel. I am hoping the Forum Gods can assist me in my search for this entire part. My XJ caught fire on my drive home from a shorted wire. After putting the fire out and examining the damage, I have a feeling that I can still get my jeep running if I find a PDC and wire the new one in. Maybe I am wrong and I should give up on this adventure, but idk haha. Below are pics of my findings and the extent of damage caused by the fire. I am hoping to either find the part number that works to buy a new one, or find someone who might be able to part way with theirs if it would fit my jeep. 2.5L manual 93 cherokee 210K miles and looking to raise those rookie numbers up!

 

I would check craigslist, FB market or ask around here in the Buy, Sell, Trade - Part Outs area for people parting out XJs. Should be able to snag one cheap and easy.

What's your location? There's a really good yard here in Marcy, NY that has bits and pieces of jeeps going back until the dawn of time. It's Vince's U-Pull-it Auto Parts and Recycling Center 1-315-768-9265. Call them!
