Hi, I have a 1990 Cherokee limited with ABS, Bendix 9.

Normally, that the vacuum supply for the booster. That would be a check valve.

I thought ABS systems were pump driven, not vacuum.

An old thread (so please don't bump) but has a pic of the '90s ABS

Did you just acquire this? Do the brakes work?

The vacuum supply is plugged into the right side of the booster, this thing extends from the left side and has a two pin socket.
The brakes work but no ABS.
From all the pictures of XJ brake boosters ive seen I cannot find one with this connection thing.

I Googled a bit and came across a 1998-2007 Volvo brake booster setup. Looks like a match. That connector is for a brake pedal position switch.
