How hard is it to replace the power brake booster? My booster whistles after the jeep is warmed up and my front axle doesn't stay locked.

pretty easy,to me.
I don't know your mechanical apptitude. 4 bolts inside the firewall two on the master cyl. providinethe master cyl isn't leaking internally killing the booster. even then just a bench bleed and whell end bleed. still pretty easy.

Only warmed up, Eh? Sounds a little odd. Your sure it's the booster? And, yea, my 90 would disengage also when I had a bad vacuum leak. Was an injector O ring on mine.

With the car off pump the brakes until they're firm and hold it. Start the Jeep. If the pedal moves you booster is good. If it doesn't move your booster is bad.
ill try that, imma replace mine anyways cuz they r getting hard to use and stop and im constantly putting brake fluid in master cylinder and its leaking, and its all pretty rusty and gotta be hissing leak from it wen i apply my pedal all the way down the hissing stops

The diaphragm in the booster seals air. If fluid is leaking, it's not that! I'd first check the rear brake cyls. If it's bad you often see radial spin-put lines on the inside if the tire. One sign of a bad brake master cyl. is if the pedal fades under pressure, and it's not leaking out like crazy somewhere.
