Default Post fix headlight switch

Ok first I want to thank everyone for helpful and informative response to the initial post. I did replace the headlight switch I did decide to wait on the headlight harness due to lack of funds and time. Second as I said I did replace the headlight switch before I put everything back together I had the presence of mind to check and make sure everything worked ie tail lights brake lights turn signals four ways and what not. Everything worked except the driver side front parking light so I chalked this up to a burn out and decided it was not a necessity. Well tonight I drove and come to realize I have no tail lights no parking lights but turn signals four ways work in the front and rear and the brake lights work. Headlights low/high both work. So what's the deal here do I have a bunch of burn outs, a blown fuse, a bad connection at the headlight switch....? Frustrated and appreciate any help.

What did the outside and inside of the headlight switch connector look like?

The old one? I guess it looked normal to me but to be honest I didn't really inspect it just tossed it and garbage went out today.

Not the switch. The connector on the harness. Was it melted any? Any burn marks inside or out?

Got to start somewhere so you may want to check out that connector (and the wiring in to it) a bit closer and the bulbs.

2000 sport filaments were intact fuses didn't look blown I don't have any way to test them at home. I also notice my license plate lamp isn't working either.

Fuse is blown. Get a $5 meter or $2 test light.

A fuse can "look" good but be bad. You'll never know without a meter or test light like cruise mentioned
