Is it possible to swap the NP231 transfer case for the NP242?

My 93 is only part time 4X4 but has the lens and socket for a bulb in the full time spot.

Im pretty sure if you plug in the switch from the full time case and put a bulb in the socket it will work.

Sweet, good to know. If I'm going to do it, I wanted to do it all the way, so that was the last piece of info I needed. Thank you

(now to research how to do it, and start looking for a T.C.)

it will give you some info on what years have what and what tranys have what length shaft
