For the popping noise, go ahead and tighten the track bar BRACKET to frame rail bolts.

I replaced the ball joints, hubs, u joints, lower control arms, upgraded the tie rod, tie rod ends, track bar, steering stabilizer and sway bar links and bushing. And it is still making this banging knocking noise. I am able to twist the u joint back and forth on the front drive shaft. Not sure if that is normal or not. Still can't figure it outOriginally Posted by cruiser54

Yes, I've experienced this myself. Originally Posted by cruiser54

Doesn't take much to make them pop, looks secure but not.

I could elaborate on this and how we discovered this at the dealership, but since nobody's paying attention, I won't bother.
Throw more parts at it!!!!

Those parts had to be replaced anyway but I'll go ahead and try it. ThanksOriginally Posted by cruiser54

I'm experiencing a popping when turning left also. I tracked it down to the right axle mounted upper control arm bushing. The bracket got tweaked enough to unseat the bushing and now I get noise. Some Johnny joints are on my list to fix it.

I'm having this same issue on my 01, did this solution work for you? Only when I turn left, nothing turning right.
